Beta installation

Three steps. No raw XML.

The downloaded file is the manifest Outlook needs. You do not have to open or edit it.

Select the download button. You will get a file named quesply-outlook.xml.

Open My add-ins

In Outlook on the web, open an email and select Apps. Then go to Get add-ins → My add-ins.

Add it from a file

Under Custom add-ins, choose Add from file, select the XML and confirm.

Convert your first email

Open a message, find Quesply under Apps or the three-dot menu and select “Convert to Quesply”. You can review the subject, text and participants before continuing.

The first time, Quesply may ask you to verify your email so the draft can be securely linked to your account.

Can’t find Quesply?
I have installed it but cannot see the button

Close and reopen the message. If it still does not appear, reload Outlook and look for Quesply under Apps or the three-dot menu.

I cannot see “Add from file”

Your organisation may block custom add-ins. Ask your administrator to use Integrated Apps to assign the beta to your pilot group.

Outlook does not open the draft

The pane will show an alternative “Open draft” link. Pop-up blockers can also prevent it from opening automatically.

Which versions can I test?

This beta targets Outlook on the web and Outlook for Windows. Outlook mobile is not included yet.

For administrators

Install it for a pilot group

In Microsoft 365 Admin Center, go to Settings → Integrated Apps, upload the same file and assign it only to your testers. Public AppSource distribution will follow after this beta is validated.

Privacy by design

Quesply only reads what you choose to convert.

The add-in requests ReadItem: access to the open message, not the whole mailbox. Reading begins when you press the button. Attachments, Bcc recipients and message identifiers are not imported.

  • Content is shown so you can correct it before continuing.
  • The temporary transfer is encrypted and expires after 30 minutes.
  • AI is only used later, if you ask Quesply to generate a draft.
